Layout Pattern
Executive Decision
The "ask" slide. States the decision requested, the recommendation, and why.
How to Use It
The slide that turns a deck into an action. Structure: Decision requested (one line), Recommendation (one line, bolded), Rationale (3 bullets), Risks/trade-offs (2 bullets), Next steps if approved (2 bullets). Place at the end of a decision deck, after context and options. Do not bury the ask - executives want to know what they are being asked for before they review the evidence. Often paired with an options slide earlier showing what was considered.
