Where Your Audience Lives

Socials is an OPF reference dimension for platform ids and handles. Use keys such as linkedin, x, or github in Organization.socials or Speaker.socials. A header or footer zone with socials: true renders the primary organization's profile URLs in preview and PPTX (core 0.11.1 and later with the matching renderer and PPTX releases); glyphs and brand colors are catalog metadata only.

Social Metadata Rules

Use platform ids

OPF stores stable lowercase keys such as linkedin and github, not display names that can drift across rebrands.

Keep handles selective

One to three social handles in a footer is usually enough. More turns metadata into visual noise.

Let the catalog resolve

Engines use the platform record's URL pattern and handle prefix to render and link the profile URL. Brand color is catalog metadata for authoring UIs; the preview and the PPTX do not draw it, or any icon.
