Table comparing our metric to industry benchmarks or internal targets. Context that raw numbers lack.
How to Use It
A number alone is meaningless - 30% conversion could be brilliant or terrible. Benchmark tables give your metrics a reference point. Columns: Metric, Our Value, Target/Benchmark, Gap. Use green/red indicators for above/below. Cite your benchmark source ("Industry Report 2025") to head off credibility questions. Place benchmark slides after a metric claim, not as the metric claim itself.
